Travel

From Warsaw Chopin Airport to the Conference Venue (20min) or further to Warsaw City Centre (30min)

  1. Buy the 75-min city public transport ticket per 4.40 PLN (approx. 1 Euro). It can be bought in kiosks, in ticket machines at bus stops and usualy also at the bus.
  2. Go to the bus stop of 175 bus in the direction of “Pl. PiƂsudskiego” (http://www.ztm.waw.pl/rozklad_nowy.php?c=182&l=2).
  3. To get to the Conference Venue, get off the bus at the stop “Uniwersytet Medyczny” and take a 5-min walk in the north-west direction.
  4. To get to the City Centre, go further the same bus. The Central Railway Station is located near the stop “Dw. Centralny”.

From Warsaw Modlin Airport to Warsaw City Centre (45min — 1h) or further to the Conference Venue (1h — 1h30min)

  1. The easiest way to get to Warsaw is to take a shuttle to the City Centre. The airport suggests using “MODLINBUS” company (http://en.modlinairport.pl/modlin-en-new/web/passenger/access/modlinbus.html), however, there are many other possibilities.
  2. If you decide to take “MODLINBUS” (https://www.modlinbus.pl/en), you need to buy a ticket from “Modlin Airport” to “Warsaw City Centre (Palace of Culture)”.
  3. In the Warsaw City Centre, buy the 75-min city public transport ticket per 4.40 PLN (approx. 1 Euro). It can be bought in kiosks, in ticket machines at bus stops and usualy also at the bus.
  4. Take a bus 175 or 128 from “Dw. Centralny” stop to “Uniwersytet Medyczny” stop (http://www.ztm.waw.pl/rozklad_nowy.php?c=182&l=2).
  5. After getting off the bus, take a 5-min walk in the north-west direction.

Accommodation

If you wish to stay close to Warsaw City Centre or the Old Town, please refer to the map provided above, on which these two locations are marked. There are plenty of hotels in Warsaw City Center, however, you may consider finding one located not too far from the bus lines 175 and 128 (marked with green and orange dots on the map), which give the best connection from the City Centre to the Conference Venue and also to the Warsaw Chopin Airport (bus line 175).

You may also consider one of three hotels of different standard that are located at Plac Zawiszy:

These are located possibly close to the Conference Venue (approx. 2 km), but at the same time at some distance (approx. 2 km) from the City Centre.
